You are the spark that lit my heart for poetry, A muse, unknowingly, in the pages of your soul. Your love for books ignited a fire inside me, And with each verse, I became whole. If only I could write a poem for you, A piece that mirrors the depth you give, A song of friendship, strong and true, Where trust is the place we choose to live. I know you're not used to letting feelings show, But in silence, I sense your quiet plea. Opening up may feel like letting go, Yet it's the key to what our bond can be.
