A Reckoning with Life
Fuck you, life, for stealing what I love, For shadows cast where light once shone above. For whispered hopes that never found their place, For empty arms and tears I can't erase. Fuck you for every loss that broke my heart, For miscarriages that tore my world apart. For pain that forced me to grow up too fast, For innocence lost, a childhood that didn’t last. Fuck you for my birth while others died, A cruel twist of fate, no peace to find. Yet here I stand, scarred but still alive, Fighting through storms, determined to survive. Though rage burns fierce and wounds run deep, I hold my soul, the promises I keep. In brokenness, I find my voice, A testament to pain, and to choice.
