A Reccuring Theme
I have fallen in love. How it hurts from such a height. How long the fall. How beautiful the view. It felt like it was meant for me. A story written by fate’s own hands. Destiny, I called it. I saw my name etched in its pages. But the author grew tired. Lost interest, perhaps. Left my chapter unfinished. Or getting lost himself, stuck. Waiting for an ending that never came. I continued walking. Following my day-dreams, seeing characters. Dancing on the page. New love, new hope. A spark igniting in the dark. I followed them through laughter. Through moments stitched with gold. Every twist and turn felt so alive. Yet somehow, it all felt familiar. Like echoes of a tale I’d known. And as I read, the ink blurred. The lines began to bleed. The characters, took flight. Something tugged at my heart. I felt the weight of shadows. As I jumped with them. A scene unfolded, a heart laid bare. A leap from heights I thought I’d escaped. And there I was, caught in the same fall. As if I’d stepped into the very lines I penned. With no clue I’d drawn this map myself. Falling again. Into love, once more. The pages turning. But the story never changes.
