A reason😭❤️🩹
You gave me a reason to leave, and I stayed, like a shadow in the sun, fighting the rays that broke the silence, holding on to hope, even when the air turned cold. I gave you a reason to stay, poured my soul into warmth, wrapped my dreams around us, offered a laugh, a smile, but you turned away like the last light fading at dusk. My heart, a wanderer lost in empty halls, echoes with every memory— each moment we slipped through, each promise that turned to dust. My tears are fresh, still falling like rain on thirsty earth, a witness to what was, and what could have been. I hate it, this dance of falling in love, like a careless child chasing a leaf, only to watch it tumble down, fragile beauty that shatters, as I only watch, bracing for the impact of all that’s broken. With every heartbeat, I pick up the pieces, trying to understand why we loved like we were meant to soar, but gravity pulled us down, weaving a story of “what if” and “why not,” like shadows on a wall that know the truth, yet have no voice. I close my eyes, dream of warmer days, where love feels safe, but each time I venture out, the cycle spins again.
