A Rain's Sonnet
The chill wind near, I hold myself in tight; The puffy haze bears weights of cloudy day, Small drizzlets shooting at a constant pace, The chirping birds take shelter in their hay. The serene place, beauty captures one's eyes, Restoring the heart of once broken soul; Helpless to bear the pain, the weeping sky, The echoes of grey devour like a ghoul. Yet, trees shall dance to the relentless song; The scent of rain fills the place with all stain, Then, gruffly stops; all that's left is to long For the lonely rain which ended in vain. The dead silence, in where I stand alone, Yearning for the rhythms of the rain now gone.
