A Queen and her Birds
Hither and thither fly The bird rise Through the air Soaring free Diving onward Let them be Out and in Through the castle they fly Feathers molting Flailing cries Ravens, black bird and crow do roam Flocking, flying, pecking the gold leaf and mold Gone is the grand staircase Gone are the thrones Still, the birds fly The queen orders to leave them alone Though a king and prince have died A clay queen and her birds shall arise
