A pretty girl!
Self doubt There was a pretty girl, living life so free, Sitting on the beach, dreaming by the sea. She whispered to herself, “What if dreams come true?” A spark of hope glimmered, though doubts still grew. In pursuit of a happy ending, she kept hope alive, But the voice in her mind sought to dim her drive: “You can’t do it,” it chanted, breaking her stride, A cruel whisper designed to crush her pride. Day by day, self-doubt began to swell, No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t dispel The fear of failure that kept her chained, Trapped in a cycle of torment and pain. There came a time whe chose to sleep away the day, Avoiding the torture in her mind’s disarray. She grew tired of carrying her burdens alone, With complaints as her only echoing tone. Her self-esteem shattered, her worth seemed lost, A heavy heart pays an unbearable cost. It grew harder and harder to stay composed, The pressure cutting her soul like a blade exposed. But deep inside, her dream called out to her still, "Will you give up so easily? Bow to your will? Am I not the vision you once held dear? Do you hate me—or just hate the fear?"
