A man stands, On top of a cliff, Raging rapids below, ~~~√√~~~ A woman walks by, Said she's lost, Knows not where she goes, ~~~√√~~~ The man is ready, To jump to his death, For love Denies, ~~~√√~~~ The woman looks, Directly at him, Catching his eyes, ~~~√√~~~ The woman running, From a life, Full of lies, ~~~√√~~~ The man wanting, To end his, Nights full of cries, ~~~√√~~~ The man wanting, To help the woman, Steps away from the edge, ~~~√√~~~ The woman wanting, To help the man, Takes him by the hand, ~~~√√~~~ They walk and talk, Not ever even knowing, Their hands had never parted, ~~~√√~~~ It was this day, A life was saved, And a love was made, ~~~√√~~~ This is a, Poem, Of how You and I started,
