A poetic love story.
This is a truth too far fetched to work under any other heading than poetry. A love story that began with a chance meeting at a Woolworth's pharmacy dinner. An shared coffee. Turned out fifty plus year's of partnership. The parents of a sister and myself. Two people intensely esthetics drivin. Made a choice of stability over the on the on the edge life of the artistic scene of the nineteen fifties. Yet happened onto the occasionally satisfying project. The challenge of putting this journey into written words is a labor of love. That's meant to connect with others who have similar histories. We have been fortunate. The lessons learned. The gifts given. The man I called Dad has been gone since two thousand eight and Mom last year. Hopefully this poetic story brings into view that unlikely love is possible. I've had mine and sure it'll come around again. As my grandpa title. May soon be great grandpa. I don't limit potential possibilities. I've witnessed and lived the miraculous. With great lessons I live today's day.
