A poem for you
I hate that you only see yourself through a mirror, A reflection of looks, but not what's within. You're beautiful, out of this world, I confess, But mirrors don't reveal the beauty that lies within. You became obsessed with your looks, I understand, But if only you knew what lies beyond that face. God isn't just exterior, He's within, Working best in the depths of your soul, in every place. Your body is like an angel's, hauntingly fair, Petite, with curves that leave me in awe, eyes so brown, they mirror the sun's rays, Got me confused, but I'd take you every day. I'm drawn to your beauty, in every single way, Slim thick or petite, I'd love you in every way. You have every reason to be obsessed with your looks, But don't forget the beauty that lies within. A beautiful soul, hidden behind those eyes, Waiting to be cherished and obsessed over. I cherish you every day, but no love is greater than the one within, Why don't you look through my eyes sometimes? See the beauty that I see, and maybe, just maybe you don't have to be out your world to see beauty.
