A Poem About God
Sticks and stones can break my bones, But the spirit of God is with me. Alone in the dark, him for the part, God created the soul, the mind, and the heart. So that we may be set apart, From the wicked that seaps into our flesh; But we have a chance to be made fresh. My chest is full of fire, I burn for love and learning; Without the father I am left in yearning. I searched man for grace and found none, Then I came again to God and found an uncountable ton. Your Grace, your creation's beauty exceeds anything I've seen. I hunger for your words, such an exquisite cuisine. Sticks and stones break my bones, But God's word heals me.
