A Plea for Forgiveness
Taofeeq, friend, a heavy heart I bear, For shadows cast upon our cherished share. A tempest brewed, a moment's heedless flight, Left scars of sorrow in the fading light. I crave your pardon, for the pain I've sown, A bitter harvest from a reckless own. Like parched lands yearning for a gentle rain, My spirit thirsts for your embrace again. With humbled soul, I offer this regret, A fragile hope, a wish I won't forget. Let time and trust mend what's torn apart, And heal the wounds within your wounded heart. © Author Alata
