A parents impact
Cold eyes mistaken with hatred, their empty words crush my heart. I often find myself crying, wondering if it's really I at fault. The title Mother and Father, causes my body to throb. Why does insults fly easy out of the mouths of those I love? I cannot be spared of crude words and pain. My hearts walls has weakend, my ribs aching with pain. (Poem left unfinished after my mother scolded me, thank you for reading something that came from the depths of me.)
