A new beginning, Escaping all the sinning. I once embraced drugs, And ran with dangerous thugs. Late-night parties, my escape, Lost in self-destructive ways, unable to reshape. But then came a chance, A choice I had to take in advance. I left behind my old life, embracing the new, Shedding my former self, seeking something true.
