A Mother's Grace
(Triumph Over Adversity) In the face of abandonment and strife, A mother's love shines like a beacon in life. Though absent, a father's presence was not felt, Her strength and resilience, my heart has beheld. With every passing day, she ensured I'd thrive, A full stomach, a warm embrace, a love that survived. Through trials and tribulations, she stood tall and strong, A pillar of hope, where I could belong. Now, as I grow older, I yearn to repay, To show my gratitude, come what may. And I dream of being something in my life, because of her that she disciplined me and thought me things that were supposed to be thought by my father, but decided to show me that she's my mother and my father. And one day, I'll buy her dream car, a symbol of my praise, For all the sacrifices she made, through joy and gaze. I'll thank God for her unwavering grace, A shining example of life's triumph over adversity's darkest place. So let this be a testament to her might, A mother's love, a guiding light in the darkest night. May her story inspire, motivate, and ignite, A fire of trust and hope, that shines like a beacon in flight. By: Liyema Dyamdeki
