A MONSTER'S HEART
Shadows fill my room, no rays of light, My world yearns for a sun to brighten the night. No monster stands before me, just a glass, Reflecting me, the monster, in a fragile pass. A monster craving love, not judgment's sting, Yearning to be understood, to spread my wings. But fears and doubts creep in, a haunting sigh, Now I see my true self, and I wonder why. Yet, I'm a monster with a soul so bright, Stars in my eyes, shining with all their might. I daydream of the impossible, a hopeful heart, Though slowly losing hope, I'll play this part.
