"A Moment's peace"
Under a big, old Chinar tree, I sit and think, feeling free. The wetland's misty, quiet too, A place where forgotten dreams come true. Horses graze, their manes so bright, In water filled with weeds and light. Their soft neighs calm my soul's pain, As I sit here, lost in thought, in vain. My heart holds many secret tales, Of love, of pain, of memories that fail. The Chinar's branches, a gentle sight, Bring me peace, and calm my night. As sunset comes, I rise to roam, The wetland's mystery stays in my home. A poem unfinished, in my mind, A memory of this peaceful find.
