A Moment's Peace
In the quiet moments before sleep, I reflect on the day's bright spots, A source of comfort for tomorrow. But since I met you, Your presence slips into my thoughts, A peaceful interruption to my routine. Last night, as I drifted into slumber, I found myself In a dark room, But the moon’s glow illuminated the balcony. There you were, Silhouetted against the night And there, I joined you, Your warmth resting against mine. A dream, I knew, yet it felt so real. I dared to ask, Would this tranquility become reality? Your gaze met mine, silent. Of the dream, I awoke, Yet your presence lingered, A faint memory on my arm and shoulder.
