A moment
Has time ever stood still? A bubble, ready to burst untill Engraved, in a moment frail We sink deeper losing the trail What keeps us there, its center mass A fracture in the times that pass We wish to stay, experience in full Its welcoming, gravitational pull We yearn for moments, just like this Experiencing unadulterated bliss To hold a second, mabye two To share it with somebody new And in this instant still, No ticking, in the background shrill Just here and now, whatever we may do? Perhaps ceate, a memory or two The bubble bursts, as time moves on The moment lingers like a song And so we hum, from time to time Replaying songs where we align Echoes mounting, flowing smoothly Of treasured times, diluted They come and go but feelings remain To revisit and be felt again A flash of warmth, on a sunny day Laughter bouncing in the rain A thought thats shared, connection true With no words bared, a song comes through We hum again, harmonic notes Untill a symphony arose Was it really time? That, stood still Or was it just, our ignorance of it
