A mirage called love
A tale told A fiction story it was, Even to tell someone about it Felt unreal That is how you made me feel, Our love is a twisted game, Where the prize is pain And the penalty is heartbreak, Our love is a haunted house, Where the ghost of our past comes back to haunt us, Some people ask, What happened? Well... You first came into my life As a specter of light, A funny girl, Almost a clown My life, My expression was a frown, You made me smile, Your face is pure and perfect Like a porcelain doll, Skin flawless and fair, Your smile like a siren's song, luring me in with every seductive note, I felt my heart flutter, My stomach filled with unwanted butterflies But I couldn’t help it, I couldn't help but see poison And drank it wholeheartedly, I knew you were wrong, A toxin that would Pollute my entire system, Yet, I swallowed your Bittersweet vines of your deceptive heart And now we are here A ship in the middle of the deep ocean, With no way to return, With no windows to protect the sailors, A ship that crashed with multiple storms, That is how loving you ended me, I became a ship wrecked by the storm in the middle of the ocean with no one to help me
