A Million Tiny Stars
A million tiny stars, Might be tiny in the sky, But if they all fall at once, My world would surely die, I try to grab them one by one, Wondering if I have time, Could I get more, or none, Would they make me shine, Wouldn't that be fun, If I could really touch the sun, Maybe it wouldn't burn so bad, Hope it doesn't run. My heart turns really dark, My imagination starts to fade, I lose my grasp of the stars, And all the words I say, You leave me all alone, You left me so very soon, I will sit starless in the night, With no sign of the moon, For I know not, Where it ends, Or even where to start, Because I am truly dead, Crushed by a million Stars.
