A Memory Beyond Reality
A moment of triumph, a memory to last. As my name was called, I stood so tall, Graceful, poised, admired by all. A bouquet white, my friend's sweet gift, Yet the next moment, my heart did shift. A man in black suit, composed and fine, Stepped forth, his presence like a sign. He placed my favorite blooms in hand, And left as whispers swept the stand. Friends laughed near, But my eyes searched for him, sincere. Time was brief, I had to depart, Yet thoughts of him consumed my heart. The rain poured heavy, soaking the ground, Still, I searched, hope profound. Through the storm, my friend’s voice rang, “There he is,” my spirit sang. He walked with purpose, his presence grand, And pulled me close with a steady hand. For the picture, his gaze met mine, Eyes speaking words too divine. Another pose, his touch so true, A memory in rain that forever grew. But then, a call, a fleeting chime, Awoke me from another time. No photos here, no rain, no flame, Yet in another realm, we both remain. A story etched in parallel skies, Where love and dreams immortalize. Though reality holds no trace to see, In another world, we’ve made history. -CLARA JOY
