a love written in the stars
Was it the way they touched? The way they looked? Maybe it’s her long hair that caught his eye. But wait—he didn’t see that. Could it be his magnificent build that attracted her? Oh wait—she didn’t see that either. Then why do I see you when I close my eyes? Why doesn’t my heart stop beating for you? Why are you the face that has become so clear to me, yet hidden so well? I felt you long before you touched me, long before your arms embraced me, and I still do. Don’t you think this is true? Just like the movies, but so precious and real. Just a window’s peek from those eyes, and soon after, I’ve seen my everything— just like I imagined. I’ve seen his soul because it is fond of mine. I call it soulmate, but truly, it’s more than that.
