"A Lonely Star"
In a vast and cruel world, I stand alone A star among thousands, lost and unknown My spark has faded, my light gone dim A shadow of my former self, a mere whim I search for trust, a guiding hand But find none, in this endless land I shine for others, a beacon bright But forget my own light, in the dark of night My heart is broken, my soul astray I mend the hearts of others, but forget my way I yearn for love, a love that's true But give it all away, to others, anew In a sky full of stars, I'm a dull light Shining for others, but lost in the night I forget my own radiance, my own grace And hide behind the brilliance of another's face But still I shine, a glimmer of hope A light that flickers, a heart that cope For in the darkness, a spark remains A spark that whispers, "Hold on, don't fade away"
