A Lonely Lion
Dancing dandelions. The sun drowning under the horizon. Alone, sleeping, a lonely lion. My lioness is gone as I am. I am soulless but the guilt stilled. My hands are thickly red but I never killed. My mind is demon filled. My heart is marked with curses. They help me write the verses. You have my thanks for the shanks in my back. The pain addictive like crack. More knives in the back.
