a little sheepy🐑
I am a sheep And you, my shepherd Be my pastor My leader My protector For the water you quenched my thirst with I return you my wool, Sew from it, a robe of warmth To protect you during harsh winter night, As pure and warm as the sunlight For the grass you nourished me with, Take from me, my skin So you can wear a part of me With confidence and pride For you, in my eyes will always be glorified For the shelter you have worked so hard on, To keep me away from where I belong Indulge in my flesh, My eyes, my tendons and my jugular So it may satisfy your eternal hunger ...... Now I have nothing nor am I anything But still you are begging, pleading, Tis be a fate of mine to give And your's to seize As a gift, Grind my bones and we shall part For the brief moments we had Know that one day You too Will be a sheep As I was to you
