Faux gold plated stars  Had their undoing  They used to line my wrist Their multi colored crystals Real or not No longer grace My skin  Another remnant of you Gone  I put it away for now With my heart  Some sentimental bag Full of childlike dreams And naivety  Reindeer and dinosaurs I cried as I stuffed our laughter away Out of sight Out of mind Another remnant of you Gone
