A Little Dream
Oh little dream, Where have you gone? Oh little dream, Why have you left me alone? Upon this long road, Painted a deep red. I followed you devoutly. Despite all the fear and dread. Flowers grow where I step. Does the road never end? Little dream, little dream. Where have you gone, my friend? I glimpse your fading light. But it's bright against the dark. So I follow along still. Refusing to see the bloody marks. I deeper I go, The farther you get... Oh little dream... Do you wish we never met? For I continue to chase. I continue to follow. And yet you run ahead. Leaving me to feel hollow. The more we walk. The more tired I get. The more I see you... The more I fear and regret. Oh little dream... Where have you taken me...? Oh little dream...? Why are your hands so bloody...?
