A lie would end it.
The future I envisioned is no longer coming. A lie would come to destroy the foundation. And the life we built would come crumpling. Down to the ground with no indication. That we would go back to the beginning. Our lives will no longer be the same. Different roads laid In Front for us to take. Our sacred vows would filll me with shame. I watched you walk away saying it was a mistake. A separation is looming I'm forced to change. I stand back at the beginning hoping for a miracle. Knowing nothing I say or do will change your mind. I have to deal with the pain and learn to let you go. Thiers tears in our eyes while we say our last goodbye. Now I'm alone in a bed that's cold with no one to hold.
