A Letter to Cleopatra: Value Y
Allow me to advise you Cleo, As a friend and not a foe, Cause I see you're caught in a limbo, Of a world you know not how to let go, You have lots of talents to show, But love of money makes you stoop low, Scantily dressed from head to toe, You send wrong signals to Jack and Joe. You're so valuable you know, Even if you have your flaw, It’s much better to sweep the floor, Than to shoot porn films at the disco, Please value your body and say no, To the life of lust knocking at your door, Follow the God of Abednego, And He'll rescue you from the inferno. How I'd like to see a show, Of your music in the ghetto, It hurts me when they call you a hoe, Because they know not your potential, You still have a choice to say NO! To dirty money you make at the disco, Live a life that suits you Cleo, And you'll live happily till you go. Thanks for taking your time to read my poem.
