Every day is a battle Every moment is a fight Fighting to avoid the paddle Or fighting to further your plight Sometimes you fight, all out - full force Sometimes you call on your weapon of choice Sometimes your ride out on your favorite horse Sometimes you fight and wield your voice Your weapon of choice is specific to you Your strongest asset, what you feel is true You can call on courage, strength, or intellect too You can change your mind and try something new But sometimes your weapon is as small as a pen And sometimes your weapon is your face and your grin Sometimes you fight by just giving in And sometimes your weapon is taking the sin
