A job for dues
I abhored a chore which paid my due, My limbs fell weiry of these incessant tasks, And my lips parted with a courteous smile Rejoyced my heart was cause the bills were paid. My wallet felt full, plump with cash, Although the occasional pleasures made it bleed But in its heart, it knew it was for naught It still rejoiced at its momentary peace Maybe i will meet luxury, make him my friend But not today, tomorrow, or the day after that I will one day succeed, but what is it for i have already won An ear to hear,a mouth to talk, and a heart filled with love i already have
