A hole no one can fill
Your left so quietly, like the fading sun, Now you have left a hole no one can fill. Home is no longer home without you; Each time I step into the eerie vicinity— I stare, search with zeal and zest for you. I’ll miss you with each passing day; I’ll carry the lessons you taught me with pride, The strength you gave me along the way. You're not only my grandpa, but also my hero My father-like figure, my mentor and teacher. I’ll always be proud to carry your name, For it holds favor from God and love from you. Though tears fall whenever I think of you, Your love still lights my way. You may be gone from this world, But in my heart, you’ll always stay. Return, if possible— But if the possibility is impossible, May you rest in peace. I love you, G.... ❤️
