A Heart Divided By Time
She met him first in golden days, A laughter bright,a gentle smile. Butterflies danced, her heart would race A dream she chased so carelessly. They danced through moments, wild and free Like paper boats along the sea. Sweet illusion in her eyes, A world of dream he built for her. But season turns,as seasons do She though the world was all a game. Her feelings slowly fades away A love once close now feel so strange. Then came the one,so strong,so true The love she was waiting all along. Not just a rush, not just a phase But steady warmth through endless days. One love was wild like shooting star The other,a constant, near or far. But in her heart, a whisper sighs— For what was lost in youth’s bright skies. Rqst by: A friend
