A Heart Divided π
In youthful years, when skies were bright, A storm of loss, a mournful plight. Two hearts that loved, now torn apart, Leaving me alone, a broken heart. Parents gone, a gaping wound, In sorrow's depths, I'm deeply drowned. Nights filled with tears, a mournful sigh, As loneliness consumes the sky. Yet through the pain, a strength I've found, A spirit resilient, on sacred ground. Though scars remain, a constant ache, My heart is open, for your sake. In ninth grade's dawn, this sorrow fell, A summer's end, a living hell. But love's sweet balm can mend the strife, And bring new hope to shattered life.
