A Half-Forgotten Dream
1. I glimpsed a half-forgotten dream where we, together as one, seem to be haunting our intertwining souls; to hammer out the shields of justice for our old dear comrades who have gone before us; we sad soldiers, crusaders all, we brothers- and sisters-in-arms; lost in the shadows of the silence of peace, gripped in the rough grasp of gratefuls and hopefuls to war no more. 2. While, in this cosmos, we are swallowed up by the great solitude; not yet burdened by our destinies, only fashioned by our past friends and enemies, yet, hopeful of another chance; a mulligan, to re-live the past and prepare for a redo, to change and shape the future of our old deja vu; where we are no longer adrift in the universe, whether together, or apart, in time.
