A Grievous Evening
In twilight’s clutch, I writhe on this floor, A tempest stirs, my body begs no more. Sunken eyes search for solace in vain, As heatpacks cling to soothe this fierce pain. Breath caught tight in a painful arrest, Nausea swells, feeling far from blessed. In shadows, I dream of a blade’s cruel grace, To silence the torment, to end this chase.
