A goodnight poem
Goodnight, My Dearest Love The day is done, the moon is bright, And casts a silver, gentle light. The world outside can softly sleep, But in my heart, your image I keep. I send a wish on evening's air, A silent, tender, whispered prayer: May peace descend upon your mind, And dreams of joy be yours to find. Just as the sun returns at dawn, My love for you will carry on. So close your eyes, let worries cease, And rest wrapped tight in perfect peace. Goodnight, my dearest, precious star, No matter where you sleep, or how far. Until we wake and greet the sun, Know that my heart and yours are one. Vinci.
