A God
***fleating thoughts And God I know it's often times that you are asked of plenty, But what I seek is answers. I know it's said not to question you, But if I oblige without heart ain't I a slave? I understand these types of writes can get you cancelled, but I feel all of us got questions to ask Him. *** Anyway, i found God is woman. You were my light and not the clishè "End of the tunnel". You were my sun, Brought light into my world. I always wondered what mine would be like, Like would it set at the end of the day like everyone's? And if it does set, then fine. That only means it'll rise by the morning. Heavens were built to be the whole foundation of my existence, but my knees haven't touched the floor since you left. My hands don't fold in prayer anymore, they just reach for a ghost. If faith is a light, then I looked for it in your eyes, trading the altar for the warmth of your skin. I made a divinity out of a mortal thing, Although I know it can't be, you felt like a God. so when I broke your trust, I tore down my own temple. I didn't just lose a girl, I starved my own soul. My sun didn't set ,I think I killed my sun. My God hasn't spoke, I think I killed my God.
