A girl's regrets
In shadows deep, where my pain resides, A tale unfolds, where hope subsides, A girl once lost, her spirit frail, In darkness swelled, her heart impaled. She wore a mask, a fragile guise, Concealing tears that filled her eyes, A battle fought within her soul, A tempest raging , taking its toll. She gave her mother sleepless nights, With restless thoughts and endless fights, A storm of anger, bitter words, A wounded heart, where pain occurred. But in her depths, a plea arose, A silent cry , a desperate prose, She sought escape from endless strife, To end the torment , claim her life, Yet fate intervented, a timely grace, A glimmer of light , a saving.
