A Gem called Happiness
In the quiet dawn, where shadows creep, I lost a treasure, buried deep, A gem called happiness, pure and bright, It slipped away, faded from sight. I wandered through a maze of night, Where every turn concealed the light, The walls were tall, the paths unsure, And darkness seemed my only cure. I searched in vain, with weary eyes, Through endless twists, beneath dark skies, Yet in the gloom, a glimmer came, A whisper soft, it spoke my name. To find your joy, you must transform, Change your course, break from the norm, The light you seek is not far off, But first, the old ways you must doff. I shed the fears, the heavy chains, Released the doubts, embraced new pains, With every step, the darkness thinned, And hope began to rise within. The maze gave way to open skies, Where sunlight danced, and birds did rise, And there it lay, that precious gleam, Not lost, but waiting in my dream. Happiness, not found but made, In every choice, each path I laid, A treasure earned through trials and strife, A beacon born from change in life.
