A Garden of Blessed Soil
A garden of flowers I wish for, Springing to life from the blessed soil, My vines climb the trees as I watch out the door. I smile at the carnation colors, The bellflower beauty, The lavender smell, And the thorns of rose. Hedges of green protecting my garden, My vegetables and melons, My flowers, Oh, my dearest flowers.
