A Game Called Love
When did love become a game? A contest fraught with pain, Where two hearts beats as one Yet one’s whispers fade. Why does love bring such sorrow? I dreamed of joy to borrow. Love, a dance of sweet delight, Yet here I stand, lost in night. When reason’s grip holds tight and fast, Is it still love that we cast? Ah, it’s a match, a duel of art, A struggle 'twixt the mind and heart. Who shall triumph in this strife? Oh, when did love become a game.
