a friend i used to know

as we were close as plants I felt the world in my hands. you were everything to me u provided me the peace I need but then u walked away from me. you let go of my hands your eyes left mine then u took your step one last time no goodbyes. just hurt and no telling what going through your mind as your forgot me already all I can say was sorry. as you glance at me occasionally as all I can do is cry and rewind the memories when u was mine but wasn't really mine but just a boy I liked as u ran away from something you was scared to fix I told u I didn't mind I didn't ask u to change I just want you to know the pain u made me go through everything.
