A FLOWER NAMED YOU
A flower had bloomed, not me, but you. I glared and I stared at you for hours. Hours turned into days as the time swept by. A flower had bloomed, you, yes you, beautiful and gorgeous you. You danced in the breeze and basked in the sun and when we talked the hours of fun! But soon you felt weak, that flower named you. I saw as you wilted, you watched as I wept. Your days were upon us ready to be cashed in. I held your hand as your last petal fell. But your beauty never faded because you are and always were my flower, a flower named you.
