A Flag in the Shadows
In the vale where silence screams, A flag unfurls, lost in dreams. Black as night, it mourns the past, Echoes of anguish, shadows cast. A crescent white, a ghostly hope, In despair's grip, we learn to cope. It whispers tales of dreams now torn, Binding the broken, forever worn. Chinar leaves, vibrant yet bruised, Hold the essence of lives confused. A symbol of sorrow, steeped in tears, In the soil of grief, we bury our fears. Through wounds, we rise anew, With every heartbeat, our pain shines through. In a tapestry woven with threads of despair, We find our voice, yet breathe the air. Let the world heed our silent cries, For freedom, for justice, beneath dark skies. In sorrow’s poetry, hearts ignite, Together we stand, prepared for the fight. Yet shadows linger, burdens we bear, Indifference chills, a suffocating air. With each sunset, hope feels far, A chorus of souls, each marred by a scar. In valleys where rivers bleed, Memories haunt, both lost and freed. The laughter of children, echoes of the lost, In pursuit of freedom, we pay the cost. Each mountain peak tells tales of grief, Of battles fought, yet no relief. From Zabarwan’s heights to Dal Lake’s haze, We seek the dawn through these endless days.
