A Fathers Love
He doesn’t say I love you, but I feel it in every little thing he does. His words may seem harsh, Though they guide me through every storm. He wakes before the sunrise, steps out while the world still yawns, just to make sure his son shines brighter than the morning sun. His hands are rough from endless work, his eyes heavy, yet full of great joy. He carries burdens untold, And stories he never wishes to unfold. Sometimes I misunderstand his silence, mistaking it for distance or pride, not knowing his quiet ways are where his deepest feelings hides. He may not hug me every day, or say the words I really want him to say, but in his sacrifices and steady presence each day, his love is always near and ever ready to stay. And maybe one day I'd understand the man I see, and learn to love everyone just like him.
