A Fading Light, A Lasting Glow
Five years—a path of endless hues, Painted in laughter, traced in blues. Like a candle flickering in the breeze, Softly burning, never to cease. A dream too vast for time to hold, A story half-told, yet rich in gold. Like autumn leaves caught mid-flight, Drifting slow, yet bathed in light. Some pages tear, some words remain, Echoes carved in joy and pain. Not a farewell, not a scar, But a whisper—felt from afar. A melody hummed in quiet nights, A shooting star in fleeting heights. Falling, fading, lost to sight, Yet never gone—just out of light. The sky may shift, the winds may turn, Yet embers in the soul still burn. For what was real, though time may sway, Will live beyond the break of day. Though tides may shift and rivers stray, The sun still bends to kiss the bay. For what was woven in silent streams Still lingers bright in unseen dreams. Author :- Partha Pratim Das
