A Fading Bond
One of the most painful things in this world is loving someone to the point you could die for them, but they don’t feel the same. It's like a shallow space has been made in your heart and it feels like your heart has been shattered into pieces. I could die for a friend. There is always that one friend you have always loved and cared for like a sister or brother. That one friend that lights up your day. But when that friend starts to change, the person you knew isn’t her anymore. She starts to be more involved in the world. Not to say it's wrong, but slowly starts to throw away the friendship that you both have built for years. First, whenever she looked at you, it was in a loving way, but now that look of love has turned to a look of disgust, a look of annoyance. We used to have lots of conversations, but now the words just don't seem to come out anymore. She seems distant… she seems different. Or maybe it's me. But I'm not jealous. I hate the fact that the way we used to talk, laugh, and make fun of each other is no longer there. If she read this, she would probably say I'm overreacting. Yeah, maybe I am, but that's how I feel and it hurts so much. My heart hurts.
