A EVENING IN MY LIFE
The streetlights flicker, pale and thin, As the quiet world comes drifting in. The weight you carried through the light Dissolves into the coming night. A lonely chair, a cooling cup, Watching the silver moon climb up. It’s in this breath, so soft and deep, You find the peace you get to keep. All the Chaos in a day comes out as a peaceful evening. A evening is the only thing I wait through out the day. A evening that changes my day.
